Week 1
Reflections
Week 1 was a lot of introductions, training, and getting a lay of the land. We got to go to Ieranto Bay and meet the other project partners as well as get a better understanding of Ieranto Bay and the project that happens there. We were able to explore by land (hiking/climbing) and by sea (kayaking). Our main focus during this internship is monitoring, conservation, and communication.

Week 2 Reflections
The beginning of week 2 was self-work and a lot of research about the projects I will be doing and the history of Ieranto Bay. Toward the end of this week, I went to the Bay and participated in the clean-up excursions and kayaked throughout the bay assisting in both the clean-up and monitoring of the bay. It was very hot so being in the sun was exhausting but overall it was a great week.

Week 3 Reflections
This week's primary focus was on the Blennies for the Ieranto Bay/ research project. I conducted a lot of research on the different species of blennies and helped compile that information into a datasheet. I also did the regular monitoring and info-point management at Ieranto Bay. Overall this was a very informative week.

Week 4 Reflections
This week is my final week at the Bay and was very big on monitoring and communication. When I was at the Bay I mainly ran the info point and monitored the boats and people. All of the monitoring I did was done on land as the supervisors went into the water to do boat monitoring from the sea. This week was very hot so the hikes were a little miserable at times. Overall this was a good and easy week.

Week 5 Reflections
This week was a lot of finalizing the last of my internship stuff as well as completing all of my final evaluations. This will be the last week at my internship and in Sorrento so I will be completing all of my final meetings this week as well. I will be giving my final presentation of my internship on the 28th of June and then I will officially be complete with my internship.
